Title: A Highland Moon Enchantment
Author: Mary Morgan
Publication Date: November 17, 2017
Series: A Tale From the Order of the Dragon Knights Book 3
Pages: 232

A series of true love, magic, mystery, time travel, and conspiracy. How could I not be hooked within the first few pages of this novel!

"Mary Morgan will weave a spell around your heartstrings, page by page!"

This book was my first experience reading any of Mary Morgans books. Although this story was brilliant I highly recommend reading this novel in chronological order with the other novels in this series. Within pages of the novel i found myself scanning the pages for explanations that were explained in the six novels previously released by Mary Morgan in the Dragon Knights Series. Despite starting this series at the end cold turkey i could not help but still greatly enjoy the story line, making this a fairly quick read for me.

This novel finds heroine Ailsa MacDuff a warrior in her own right and hero Desmond O'Quinlan falling into each others paths, both trouble by their own inner turmoils. The first chapters of the book i spent much time trying to come to terms with much of the terminology and setting of the novel. I was so distracted educating myself on every detail that i was not bothered by the lack of immediate action or the two main characters meeting each other immediately.

As the plot thickens Mary effortlessly weaves a tale of betrayal and a growing seemingly forbidden love. Unlike many other novels Mary seemed to spoon feed hints to upcoming events in the novel. I prefer to be left guessing, but this element did not seem to deter me from my interest. Mary is able to familiarize the reader with many characters in the novel without the reader realizing what is happening. This novel delivered a fairly quick and happy resolution, i was almost taken aback by how smoothly things came to an end. Despite this is still enjoyed the novel enough to seek out the first novel in the series Dragon Knight's Sword in order to continue enjoying Mary's fantastical world.

"If you are looking to get sucked into a world of magic, Fae, and mystery for an afternoon this novel is for you!"

Book Bio

You first meet this warrior in the time travel paranormal romance series Order of the Dragon Knights, DRAGON KNIGHT'S AXE, Book 3.

Irish warrior, Desmond O'Quinlan has never surrendered his heart to any woman. He has no wish to have his soul tortured by love. Yet, the moment he locks gazes with Ailsa, his fate is destined for an adventure he never fathomed. He may have battled alongside a Dragon Knight, but his greatest challenge will come from within his own heart. Ailsa MacDuff, a warrior among her clan, has no desire to have a man chain her to a life of obedience. However, that is before she meets Desmond. The temptation to allow this warrior inside her heart is a risk she dares to take, but one that could lead to a future of emptiness and sorrow. When betrayal looms from within, the battleground of love is no match for these two warriors. Can the power of a Highland full moon be strong enough to unite or destroy them?
