Hello!

Where does one start? Isn't it a funny thing, trying to tell people about yourself and drawing a blank. Picture it, we have all been there, you know... going around the room in school or a meeting everyone introducing themselves and sharing one unique "fun fact" with the group. The person before you uses your idea leaving you no time to think of something new before all the eyes in the room turn in your direction. The looks of expectation and curiosity on everyone's faces, your stomach wrenched into a knot of anxiety. You choose something safe and unmemorable to share about your pets, or family and everyone moves onto the next person in the room.

Every book has a story, as does each individual. My story is fraught with work, family, random endeavors, and of course my veritable zoo of pets. I am a small town girl born and raised in central Maine, who up a daddies girl hunting, fishing, and beating on all of the neighborhood boys. The boyish, freckle faced, red headed girl, with the dimples, and shy demeanor. If only i knew then what i know now.
 

I always grew up thinking i wanted to become a veterinarian until one morning i woke up and realized that overnight i had become a squeamish, weak bellied wimp. My first job was at an Arby's restaurant where i climbed the ladder from a part timer to step in general manager before leaving at 18 for "bigger and better" things. My career path followed the same tone climbing the latter at Payless, and Petco running my own high volume stores very successfully until i realized that quality of life was worth more than any amount of money. Like many, i dove headfirst into my work, giving every bit of myself to the job not leaving anything for enjoyment.

No matter how crazy life has gotten the one place i can always find true solace is between the pages of a good book. The true wonder of delving completely into a story is something that everyone should enjoy young or old. Historical romance novels are my passion as they allow me to take my mind and body to another time so magical in its simplicity.
